UFOria

We interviewed Lee Harris (a friend of Jack Henry Moore and Jim Haynes) who tells us about his experience at one of his favourite clubs which Jack helped set up.

UFO was an underground club in London during the 1960’s, it was established by Joe Boyd and John “Hoppy” Hopkins. It featured a variety of famous bands and musicians before they were famous such as Pink Floyd, Soft Machine and many more.

Moore helped design the club by building the stage and became the in-house DJ where he often took his camera to capture moments and performances, here Harris speaks about his eagerness to get to the club and the one time he walked into the club and saw Yoko Ono for the first time.
