Amsterdam New Years Eve 1972

Jack Henry Moore and The Videoheads had a tradition of going to Amsterdam's Chinatown to video the fireworks ignited on New Years Eve. They did this for 14 years! Each time they used the latest equipment to which they had access, so it portrayed a history of qualities of audio and video recording through the developments of that period (1970-1985).

The early tapes are in black and white. The excerpt here is from 1972 but has been colorized with Dupouy video synthesizer, the Movivolour
