Here in Wackyland

The trainees have been digitising ‘Porky in Wackyland,’ an animation of weird and controversial happenings, directed by Robert Clampett, and inspired by the artwork of the late Salvador Dali. The Videoheads took the original material and reinterpreted it to promote human equality and rights.

This may have been important for Jack and other members of the Videoheads due to their personal experiences with repression and prejudice. Uncovering this heritage and revealing more about Moore’s life, connections and work is proving to be hugely rewarding.
